10 Tips for Cultivating Gratitude

10. Find gratitude in sharing your gifts. The highest and most potent form of gratitude is when you can simply be grateful for opportunities to share your gifts. This type of gratitude doesn’t fit the traditional concept where you see a benefit, and then you’re grateful. Instead, you feel privileged just to be of service, and you have no need to receive appreciation from those you served.
In essence, this type of gratitude is our way of thanking God for the gifts He has given us. In the words of author Leo Buscaglia, “Our talents are the gift that God gives to us, and what we make of them is our gift back to God.”
